Apparently, we won't be that lucky. In today's post-game interview, ML
was smiling like he had the world at his feet. He said that he and
"Paul" have more than an employer-employee relationship: they "have
become friends." ML is taking a week off to go "to the beach" and relax.
No decisions will be made until after that week. He said several times
that "Paul and I are on the same page," that the organization is where
they want to be, and that they will make decisions based on "what is best
for the Boston Celtics."

"The plan is working," he said, although, as always, he did not go into
details. I think we'd all feel a lot better if we knew just what the
hell their plan is.

In any case, ML did not look like a man who is worried about his job.
Whether he wants to remain as coach or step down, it seems he will make
his own decision, with Gaston's backing.
