Depp as Moonie

True, Depp is an American but does it count that he lives in France?

I agree that true English accents are preferable, but if you see the movie 
Pirates of the Caribbean, you'll see that his accent and his mannerisms 
immediately make one think of Keith Moon.  It is uncanny.  Don't knock it 'til you try 
it.

Only Roger knows who he would want to play Moonie.  But, I bet alot more 
people would see it if Johnny Depp plays Moonie then a unknown English actor.  
IMO.  Of course, that might not be Roger's goal in making it, to have a big box 
office draw.  But, someone has to pay the bills.

Plus, Bjorn <and Jon in Mi.> agrees with me!!
