Earlier I was thinking that Keets may have hit upon something, but the more I thought about it, the more it seemed doubtful.
Usually, sexual offenders are required to keep away from children, or at least not come in close contact, alone with them. These anti-child porn organizations aren't *run* by children, so I don't see how becoming involved with them would endanger Pete's plea agreement.
But, as always, we don't know all the facts. Ironically, this is partly because of Mr. Townshend himself.
