Of course the statement has more than one meaning, though it feels almost
artificial after the easy associations of the early Pete. This one is
constructed, but yes, slang from the WWII years referred to a beautiful
woman as a BOMB, and a bomb as a woman.

This also has personal significance in Pete's life, as he was apparently
quite taken with Theresa, and his relationship with her sabotaged his
chances to get LIFEHOSE made into a movie the second time around. LIFEHOUSE
was taking on that explosion imagery this far back.
