Re: Guitar gets smashed

My very good friend was lucky enough to see that Portsmouth show as a surprise
gift from his girlfriend on his last trip to the UK. He had never been
exposed to the Who's live show, and generally doesn't like "classic rock". He
was VERY excited about it, and emailed me the next day and said "I saw Pete
smash his guitar!!" lucky bastard...grumble grumble grumble . lol. He was so
impressed he even wrote a review of the show, but didn't know any song
titles!! lol. I had to help him with it. One of the people who went with him
and his gf told him as they walked in "Now you're going to see a REAL bass
player". Sweet, eh? After the trip, my friend came over and actually asked
to see and hear some of my Who collection, so I broke out TKAA and a few CD's.
Not sure if I'll be able to 'convert' him, but I'll give it a shot :)

BTW, WB Dave.
