Just to be accurate, there WAS a lack of rules on O&S, but it now has them.
Some may remember that O&S was formed as an explicitly "no-rules"
alternative after Paul decided to impose written rules on this list. The
"no-rules" experiment lasted for a year or so until the resulting open
warfare drove the host to impose a couple of rules, which are bascially
that you have to provide him with contact info for the real person behind
every post and you have to modify your posting behavior when instructed by
him. IOW, the list explicitly founded as an anarchy now has the form of a
dictatorship, although the dictator is so benevolent that no one minds. In
practice, the posting behavior on each list is nearly indistinguishable
now; both the detailed written rules on this list and the few subjective
rules on the other are almost never invoked AFAIK.

show ever, this year.
