And what I'm saying is that attacking isn't going to change it either. Yes,
I believe we have to do what we have to do to protect ourselves. But, if
anyone thinks that by doing so we get to go back to the world before
Tuesday, think again. We now live in a country where extra precautions will
always have to be taken and the guarantee of civil liberties will be a
little more tenuous. This isn't going to change anytime soon and, in fact,
it may never change.

Unless a miracle occurs, there will be no quick fix. If you want to bring
about protection, much less justice, steel yourself for a long haul and more
sacrifices.
