The first one that came to my mind who went from critic's darling to "what
in the hell?" was Randy Newman. Remember when he was giving short people the
raspberry if they didn't like his song on Saturday Night Live? Then did you
see that hideous performance of yet another generic lame Disney song on the
Oscars this year? Pee-you!
