Well, I dunno about the clean your bathroom part.  I thought they were 
coming to do mine.  :)

The holidays are fucking with Pete, too?  I thought the tone of the post was 
very positive--Pete chattering along in the mood to work--and then here 
everybody comes along complaining.  So now likely Pete is brooding in the 
dark somewhere about how he can never please anybody, anyway, anywhere, 
anyhow, much less official critics, and we're not going to see his new 
project for at least as long as it took to get Lifehouse worked out of his 
system.  Oh, I forgot.  He said this was part of the Lifehouse Methods 
project.  Nevermind.  ';)

I think they had this discussion a year or so back.

I dunno that it's "giving in."  More likely that Pete can see all their 
paths converging again after a period of wandering.  The Who was tapped out 
creatively and spiritually when they called it off, but now they're 
revitalized and the relationship is alive and potentially rewarding 
again--assuming they can avoid the old pitfalls.  They just have to find a 
way to reach a high-quality consensus without duking it out onstage.

Actually, we're very fortunate to have access to Pete's web diaries and 
therefore his thoughts about the creative Townsyend/Who processes--vague and 
rambling as they are.  Maybe we should just take that post as a forecast of 
Pete's resolutions for the new year.

Pete didn't mention anything about a new album.  He was talking about a rock 
garden.  He did definitely say he'd agreed to a summer tour with The Who, 
though.  :)
