Phoenix
It seems that I'm really behind in the news, but I just found out today
that the Phoenix shows (Black Crowes, too) were canceled. I guess I figured
that once they sold tickets and I had them in my hands that I had nothing
more to worry about. That in itself pisses me off. How can they sell
tickets and get my hopes up to have good seats to see the Who and then decide
that they don't want to play there after all?
I am a 17 year old female and the Who is my favorite band. This was the
only chance I've had to see them, and I was planning on a big road trip to
Arizona just to do it. Now I'm not going to Arizona, not going to see Jimmy
Page, and not going to have third row seats to the Who. I'm sorry, but any
band that would do this sort of thing obviously doesn't care shit about their
fans. I wouldn't be so upset if I didn't want to see them so much, and I
feel terrible. I've been working all summer to afford the outrageous tickets
and the money for the trip, and now it's all for nothing.
To me, the Rolling Stones are starting to move up in the world...
I just thought I'd vent to some people who care as much about this band as I
am trying not to.
