Re-Another who first

Hi all, James Siegel wrote that " a Quick one " may have been possibly 
the longest who single to get airplay. (At the time ?) Trouble is I'm not
so sure that "a Quick one " was ever released as an actual single. 
However,The Ox from the My generation album was over 4 minutes and was 
appaerently issued as a b side on The kids are alright (I think). Brian 
in Atlanta or anyone else care to step in here and set the record straight?
Lastly, I think( I stand to be corrected) The Who"s most played single ever
was "Happy JacK". I Mean,I actually remember hearing it on The Radio more
