According to his "Behind Blue Eyes" it says he is an interior decorator.
 Apparently, he used to drum, and his mum said that he was talented but was
the type that needed constant encouragement-- he quit.

I believe Paul and Simon to be very close since they were indeed born a few
years apart and a decade and a half later that Pete.
