Umm... Pete DOES have formal musical training, I believe.  He went to
"Art School"; he's the only member of The Who who had any college at
all.  Pete's parents were also musicians of note in their own right.

Pete mentioned at the House of Blues about drinking lots of coca-cola
instead of booze, so maybe its an inside reference to that...
