 I can relate to that to some extent. LAL was one of the first two Who
albums that I ever bought. Meaty Beaty was the other, and I got them both at
the same time. That was in 1972. 25 years later, LAL is my favorite live
album of all time by ANYBODY. *But*, it was hearing WGFA on the radio for
the first time a few months later that made The Who my favorite band.
