Jim,

I think I wrote that... It didn't come out the way I was thinking about it. I
was really trying to get at its retrospectiveness about being a kid, and that
mods were the punk of the day in the early/mid 60s.

But, yes, I certainly agree with what you say, especially the water as
redemption. I thought of it more as an escape, but I like redemption better!
