Pete had two Cokes on stage at the Fillmore (regular and with caffeine -- I
knew you'd want to know).  There was a bottle of Crystal Geyser that he did
not touch.  (It's the local version of Evian bottled water).  Pete made a
reference to 12-step programs and said he was 8 1/2 meaning that he has been
clean/sober for 8 1/2 years.  How Pete defines clean/sober is anyone's guess,
but I'd say for Pete in means being off "hard drugs".  We all saw him
drinking during the PD tour.
