Re: list history and genesis

I've been on the list since day 1 when it used to be: wholist@cats.UCSC.EDU.
It was run by Eric Davis from UC Santa Cruz. He posted to alt.rock-n-roll to
see if there were any Who fans that would be interested in joining an e-mail
list.

Traffic was extremely slow in those days - usually about 1 post a month!!
