The best reason for you to write Waterloo Station would have been D) it is
depicted in the Quad booklet :-).

A few comments on the other points:

   ad A)  There is no main terminal in London, only a lot of stations with
   tracks heading in different directions.  Victoria and Waterloo Station are
   for trains from and too the south, but as far as I know, Victoria is more
   important.

   ad B)  The word Victoria Station occured several times in my Hyde Park
   report, so... :-)

   ad C)  No, the northern and the southern stations of London are not directly
   connected by railway tracks.  (London already was a large city in the early
   days of railway traffic.)  You have to take the Underground to get from one
   to the other.
