Pete's Drinking

     In some of the recent posts here about Pete's hearing I've read that 
     he has gone back to the bottle?
     
     I know that during one of the first Rolling Stone articles I ever read 
     about Pete, he was sober. This was probably around 1980 ("Pete 
     Townshend, Stone Cold Sober"). 
     
     Does anyone have an idea as to when he went back to the booze?
