What do you expect from a bunch of shaved monkeys?
My copy has the complete lyrics. It's on Atlantic, though. I do have WHO'S &
TWO'S MISSING without the info, a painfully inadequete MCA version of TOMMY
and QUADROPHENIA, and a bunch of MCA CDs with nothing but the list of songs
repeated inside the "booklet."
Brilliant planning there. How much do you think they saved on the printing?
A good 2 cents per CD, I'll bet!
I also recall that my first copy of TOMMY (on 8-Track) omitted the songs:
Christmas, Eyesight To The Blind, and half of Sparks and Underture. Not to
mention that they moved Pinball Wizard to before Cousin Kevin. Yeah, and I
have an original cassette release that was done the same way. These were
issued in `69, too. Those of us who were turntable-impaired at the time just
didn't get these songs.
Thank you again, MCA.
Wanna banana?
