I'm not a member of the James Gang, but Joe Walsh is also a well-known Who
fan. Not only did his first band repeat the drums-bass-guitar
instrumentation of The Who, but live (CAUGHT LIVE) they sounded a Hell of a
lot like The Who. Walsh gave Pete a guitar which has been mentioned here
recently, and Sheraton Gibson from WHO CAME FIRST was reportedly written
after Pete attended a Bar-B-Que party at Walsh's house.
Also, Walsh played on Entwistle's TOO LATE THE HERO album...a collaboration
I would have liked to see continue. They both need it, as well. The freakin'
Eagles, fer Gawd's sake...
