Quad/WBN

I couldn't let the Quad/WBN thread go by without throwing in my $0.02...

Since reaching the ripe old age of 33, The Who By Numbers has easily become
my favorite Who album.  A decade and more ago, during younger and wilder days,
Quadrophenia was one of the soundtracks for my delinquent youth.  I enjoyed
WBN, but the lyrics to Quad meant a lot more.  Today, the lyrics to WBN floor
me every time, and I feel like I'm right at the point where Pete was when he
wrote HMIB, DFTW, and TAAIL.  I also better understand Pete's attitude in
his writings during that time - about continuing passion and urgency for
rock and roll yet more and more from a spectator's point of view ("...just
let me...watch" - PT).

Anyone else enjoy WBN more and more as you get older?
