To all Yankees going to England...

On your shopping lists, you may want to purchase the following Polydor CDs
(pre-remix) as they sound better than their USA MCA counterparts:

"A Quick One" (all mono, clean and "Run, Run, Run" is the original version)

"Live At Leeds" (ORIGINAL MIX blows away the MCA by far--probably find this
one cheap!)

"Quadrophenia" (nice packaging and sounds better than the rest of the issues)

"Odds & Sods" (far superior to the MCA counterpart)

"Who By Numbers" (marginally better, but softer on the ears)

"Who Are You" (the best version around)

"The Kids Are Alright" (MCA really fucked with this one. The Polydor not only
sounds better, but has the original versions that were used on the vinyl
pressings (ie "I Can See For Miles", "Magic Bus", etc. alas, it too, also
deletes "Roadrunner", etc...)

for the record, "Who Rarities vol 1 &2", "Daltrey", "Mc Vicar" & "The Best of
Rockers & Ballads" (Daltrey compilation) and "Flash Fearless Vs The Zorg
Women" are all Euro only releases for now...
