I don't think I'm special. My friends all do it, too, and millions of others
all across the world. I know so many...

I've already stopped twice...and then you post about it again.

That's not unreasonable, but is it reasonable to make my lifestyle suffer
for someone else's failures/problems/lack of responsibility? I think not. If
I didn't commit the crime then I shouldn't have to do the time...I shouldn't
be (and refuse to be) oppressed for my choice, which has effected no one but
myself.
Besides, the main reason Pot is illegal is economic, and has nothing to do
with people ruining their lives. Otherwise, alcohol would be illegal. Now
THAT has ruined lives, as you and I both know from personal experience.
I'm a student of human psychology, too (a must for any writer), and the main
problem here (which touches on so many other areas as well) is that people
no longer feel that they must take responsibility for their actions. They
expect someone (the Government, for one) to bail them out.
Yeah, I get emotional about this subject, too. I've worked so hard to be a
positive role model only to have it all smashed by some teenaged fool whose
parents neglected to inform them about moderation or some President's wife
openly misinforming people from or someone ranting with only part of the
facts. What ever happened to the truth? Not telling people the truth about
drugs is what a large part of why they misuse them. That is a fact. Also, if
they weren't illegal (some of them, anyway) there wouldn't be nearly as much
violent crime. That's an economic problem, too, at its root.

Fine. Consider it done.
