It could be so Pure and Easy....

I would like to mention something which I have a certain amount of passion
for.
How about releasing live disks of crucial Who concerts completely uncut.
Especially the amazing years between 69 and 73. There's not exactly an
incredible amount of live material available from the Who's Next tour and the
beginning of the Quad tour (quality boot wise). And honestly I'm always
surprised that there's little to no mention of this compared to the loud
noise people make for Tommy. The San Francisco 71 show which Bargain came
from for example. You cannot deny that they had the magic that night. There
are several Edmonton 12-73 shows that are amazing. Instead of a bunk
collection of obvious songs that would leave me wishing -once again- that I
could hear the whole show, how 'bout we actually get the whole show.........
cross talk between songs and all. No editing 'cause Rog couldn't hit it or
'cause Pete made the awkward trans from bitching rhythm to the odd selection
of lead notes or 'cause we finally busted JAE on the one time he didn't know
just exactly where Pete was going or ........................
Somewhere along the road, isn't this an underlying reason we started
listening to this band?
I don't understand why this would be so much to ask for.
WFang, if your talking with people who are actually resposible for the
release of the live material, mention this to them- even if it's not what you
are looking for.
Thanks,
Later,
Chad.
