Some bits, maybe, in the short term. I'd say it probably fueled some of his
brilliant moments, but in the long run it deteriorated his health (actually,
none of them are healthy -- they all smoke).
They often mention the speed they were doing. Like a lot of `medicine' it's
good for the short term. Wasn't Kit using coke/heroin on them for the Murray
The K period? But, of course, some of 'em never stopped.
