I've yet to see anyone mention 'Lightning Jack'  He played opposite Mr.
Crocodile Dundee himself, Paul hogan.  It's been on like three times a day
on HBO for a couple months.


as far as laser turntables go, thy're out there, but they're expensive.
My guess is that you'll see some new ones on the market real soon now with
lower price tags considering the costs of lasers have come down.  One a
related note: anyone rmember videodiscs (not laser discs which are like big
CD's)?   videodiscs worked like a laser turntable, reading analog
information off of a grooved disc.  FWIW I first saw the movie Quadrophenia
on a videodisc, and there were some pretty significant skips in it, I was
surprised by a couple of scenes when I later saw it on VHS  (not to confuse
you, it was the copy I saw that was damaged and had skips in it, not a cut
version of the movie.)
