Actually, I believe the later German pressings of this CD don't have the
early fade out (at least this is what ICE reported).  The only complaint I
have about this set is that the early version of Mary Anne with the Shaky
Hands sounds like it was mastered from vinyl.  The same track on the Horton
Hears the Who boot CD, on the other hand, sounds perfect.
