Re: News from July 7

I had gotten this list from Mr. Domo as well.

I am rooting for Acie as a past Celtic, though I encourage anyone who might
be amused or care to go to the article on the matter at the Espn site, and
click on Acie's name on the actual roster section, his picture is a gas.
As he was last a Buck, he does look like a deer in headlights.

Also glad to see Rich Manning out of Washington (I am a Huskie) get a look
and Dave Wood from Vancouver, WA a marginal player at best (aren't they all
on this roster) but an outstanding person. It was reported locally he was
invited because of his basic skills and experience, but also because of his
volunteer and humanitarian work. Can you believe a bb player being
recognized for being a good person? What is this world coming too anyway?

Lastly, though not basketball related, I sure got a kick out of the
response from Griff Jr. when questioned last night by Arsenio Hall on Leno
about if he thought he could hit more Hr's or did he wish to be able to hit
against the pathetic Mariner pitching. Jr. cracked up and almost answered
the question. Makes me wonder how AW would answer if asked if he thought
he could score more on the Celtic defense of recent years. Sorry about the
heresy, I hope AW never gets the chance.
