Is it recycled, for a moment?

>Perhaps by you MTV junkies. But radio stations in general hadn't picked up on their music yet.

Kevin:

I have to object to that. Here in MB, which arguably has the worst radio stations in the civilized world, the radio was playing U2.

> However, marketing will tell you there is a lot in a name...IMHO, "The Kid
Who Heard Music" would be an improvement

FrankO:

How about The Child Who Heard Music (or Children more accurately), even better. "Kid" is a bit dismissive, "Child" is more supportive.

>who go to concerts, don't really give a shit that Entwistle is gone. Some.
I said *some.*

Scott:

Go on, just say it: Zeppelin fans.

> Some would. The educated, intelligent Who fans. The dumb, doltish *rock
fans* won't.

Go on, just say it: Kiss fans. Now don't you feel better?

> Priority #1.

But hard to imagine; songs about kids generally don't rock, unless you count Jeremy. The Kid That Got Ammo. I digress. So we get a Richard Marx-sounding album, a touchy-feely positive vibrations (are you completely uncomfortable yet, Kevin?) kind of music is indicated. Along the lines of Now And Then from Psychoderelict.

>As a rock fan, I have been to 4 Tom Petty shows over the past 20 years and I
couldn't tell you the names of the other band members.

Jo:

Yeah, but the big question is: how many Kiss concerts have you been to in the last 20 years?

>Where has this problem with the word "boy" come from? Why is "kid" any
better? I don't remember Pete's accusations being gender specific.

Jim M:

That's a good point. I guess "boy" just sounds worse to most people, for no reason I can think of.

>Here is the pitch........... Three British children - two boys and a girl
from different religious backgrounds - find each other. Gabriel can hear
music. Josh can hear voices. Leyla can fly. They grow up and form a rock
band together. They become famous and powerful. They marry, torture, love
and fight each other. In the process they show the world the real truth
behind rock 'n' roll. Together, they work a miracle.

Scott:

Tommy meets Jimmy at the Lifehouse? Uh oh...is it recycled, for a moment?
