Well, that's what I was wondering. If the bearded man is a supernatural
figure (and in the rest of the story, the supernatural is rejected for inner
peace), then why doesn't he either reappear (a good time would be during
We're Not Gonna Take It or I'm A Sensation) or reject Tommy for leaving the
path (as in the movie)?
It just seems to me that if that man was to be a supernatural figure, and
not just in Tommy's mind, that a little reinforcement of the idea would have
been there.
