RE: Clutch job cost?

That sounds reasonable. The clutch kit can cost around $200, plus you need
some extra bits like a new rear-main seal, and new pressure plate bolts and
flywheel bolts. That adds another $70 in parts. The average clutch job
will net ~5-7 hours labor, so you need to multiply that with the labor rate.

Just make sure a new rear-main seal, resurface of the flywheel, and new
bolts are part of the deal!

Subject: Clutch job cost?

I'm getting quotes in the $650 range for a new clutch, parts plus labor.
Is
that fair or a ripoff? And no DIY comments, please. I prefer to not
work
on my own car...I break shit. :-)

Thanks,
John
