Re: Broken window regulator

I just remove the interior moulding. Removed the glass. Unbolted the regulator. Removed regulator w/ motor still attatched. Remove motor from regulator. Installed motor onto new regulator. Installed new regulator. Installed glass. Installed interior door moulding. DONE. Just my 2 cents. Have had to install new regulator on all my windows because they have broke at one time or another. A real pain in the @ss.

It's been a while but IIRC there are three or four bolts that bolt the
regulator to the door frame.Eventually you'll also have to loosen the bolts
on the two brackets that hold the window to the reg and disconnect the motor
to get it out. IT's best also to tape the window in the up position to
facilitate the removal/install of the regulator. What I found helped getting
the picture was buying the regulator and placing it side by side to figure
out what needed to be done.
