Re: New (used) Jetta, and some repair questions



ON MY 95 to remove the gear shift boot all you have to do is pull it out to
the side at the bottom . It's held in place with a elastic string around the
base of the boot. Pull it out to one side and you'llsee what I mean. Then
you just unscrew the knob and the whole boot comes off. Definitely get the
Bentley manual it will save you money.
