Sorry to do this, but I have a few little comments on a few posts.

1) TT Exhaust-

I have one and heard some banging. Turns out the muffler clamp that
connects it to the rear of the cat is on with the bolts down and sometimes
it hits the cross member that is right there. I had it loosened and turned
so the bolts are in the 7 o'clock position. It worked, so if it is not
welded (like someone else suggested) it might be one of the clamps
somewhere making contact.

2) My cruise control is also on the fritz. Sometimes it works, but often
not at all or it works for 1 hour and suddenly stops.  I have checked the
fuse and connections I could see to look for any loose ones, but no luck.
Please let me know if anyone has found a cure!

3) The battery blankets have been on there long enough in enough cars that
if they caused harm, VW would have at least issued a tech bulletin for a
retrofit by now so they could try and worm out of covering batteries
damaged by it under warranty. Sorry, I am a pessimist tonite.  I would
leave it on, but I doubt it will truly make a difference either way except
show the dumb way VW hooked a hundred things up to the terminals. I like
that hidden.

3) My drivers side heated seat worked awesome all last winter, now does not
work at all.  I tried someone elses switch with working heaters and it does
not help. The relay sounds like it is clicking on and off, and I do not see
a fuse for it but I do not have a Bentley to double check (I know, I
know....). I used a test lite and there is power at the relay going on and
off with the switch. Any one have ideas??

Well, that about does it for my $.02. Sorry for the length, but there were
some good issues.
