You should be OK with a little water in there, if there is enough 
coolant, but use distilled water... you don't want minerals and crap 
from your tap. If you live in areas that get cold this time of year 
(not very likely) you may want to use coolant, as water raises the 
freezing temperature towards 0 degrees C (32 F). Since you have 
coolant in there, adding a little bit of water (less than 50% for 
example) will still keep your freezing temperature lower than 0 
degrees... which isn't much of a problem for the summer time.

Basically you want to make sure your coolant in your radiator can 
absorb lots of heat (like water and coolant can do) but has a low 
freezing temperature so that it can still stay liquid in the cold 
winter time. Otherwise, the coolant/water can expand, and crack your 
radiator and produce leaks.
