Matt-

I have noticed this too on my VR6.  I had the same thing with my 4 banger 
too, but that was caused by an oil leak or so i was told.  I don't think it 
has to do with your idle being off because my idle is 900 dead on all the 
time.  If anyone has any ideas as to what cause this please let me knwo too.

Engine Mods:  Supercharger, Brospeed Header, K&N intake for charger and AMS 
Chip for charger.
