      I'd say it wouldn't be possible because the ticket is issued on the
driver's licence, i.e. the driver committed the offence.  There is a possibility
depending on the state that the you can get away with it since there is an error
on the ticket, you could try it.

     They mispelled my name on a ticket I got in NY, I wrote back saying the
mail was sent to the wrong address since there is no Mr xyz here and haven't
heard from them since, it's been 6yrs so I figure I'm OK.  But that was a
completely different case.

Tell them you are dyslexic (sp?)   53 mirror image 35, i dunno, might have
something there
