I NEVER have had anything added to my policy to cover mods to my cars and
stereos and I have gotten back 100% of everything stolen and vandalized in
the past. Thankfully nothing that this occured to a was a VW. I would fight
it against your company plus i know a friend who had it covered under his
homeowners policy (Not sure if it needs to occur in your driveway though or
not?)
