RE:

I drove my friend's '99 Jetta GL. I have to tell you that it felt like the
engine was going to explode at 4000 rpm in first gear. The red line is the
same as ours too. I just didn't like like it at all. The thing is stock, but
still, so it mine. The whole feel of the car is nice but the engine has to
go. Oh and another thing! You know how our seats kind of "fold" down? Hers
didn't. I felt way too high. Other than that it's a nice car. I've driven a
95 Jetta GL also and those feel a lot better to me. I'd stick with the VR6,
even though I plan on buying a 92 GTI 16V. That will be my play car.

Hey Guys...

I have a problem. I just sold my 95' GLX so I could get a newer car. I
was looking around , and for the same price I could get a 97' 98' GLX I can
also get a 99' or 2000' model Jetta GL, or GLS. Yes I loved my GLX and the
power it had. What should I do. Can a Jetta GL be tricked out that much.
Please give me any info that would help me make up my mind...

Thanks
