Re: Subs rattling something

Running bandpassed subs in stereo is NOT GOOD... It will knock them out of phase and is not worth it..
Get an amp stable to 2 ohms. A bandpass box is not meant to run in stereo. Now as far as the rattle..
use dyna mat and pods... first put pods on your rear deck speakeres.. this will enclose them and give them their own air.. Then dynamat over the area under the deck in your trunk.. dynamat is awesome stuff.. the vibrations from your subs will not be as violent in the gap between the framing and the rear deck.. hence less rattle.. also before dynomating. tighten the bolts on the retraction unit on the seatbelts.. If you have left over dynamat.. use it around the post on your trunk latch, your trunk will close tighter and the latch wont rattle..(it usually is the first thing to start.)
