Canadian Speeding Ticket

All,

I'm not sure how many Canadian readers there are on this list but I thought
I'd give it a shot and ask anyway. I got a ticket about 6 months ago in
Mississauga, Ontario. For doing 100km/h in a 60km/h zone. There was a lot of
traffic, the cop stopped all 3 lanes of the street and then signalled each car
to go by as tho he was looking for someone.. then when he got to me, he said
"pullover". I found it really strange the way he did that, also, they were
using radar NOT laser, so I don't know how he could single me out.

I asked him if I could have a look at the reading and he said "sorry, we
erased it and don't try using that it court it won't work". I planned on
fighting it but I'm not sure it's worth my time. This is what I was planning on
using:

1) Lots of traffic, if everyone else was at speed limit, I would have hit em
doing 100.
2) The cops were using radar, they could not have pinpointed my speed with that
many cars around
3) I asked the cop to show me the reading, because there's no way I was even
doing 50 and he couldn't produce one, said it was already erased.

Anyone have any thoughts?... It's a $300 ticket, should I just pay it and be
done with?

Thanks,

Kevin.
