RE: 30,000 maintanance



Seems about right. My dealer wanted to charge about the same, but I took it
to an independent (tho still VW certified) mechanic and had it done for
$200. I'd also recommend a coolant flush in addition to the 30k
service--when I drained the old stuff it looked like seawater.
