CD Changer in 97 Cabrio

Anybody know how to tell if I have the Clarion Head unit or the Panasonic?  I 
would like to get a CD changer for it and am wondering which one I need to 
look for.  I am assuming that the changer has to be from the same 
manufacturer as the Head unit, is this true?
Any input will be greatly appreciated.
