 Rear apron on a Mk3 car has 4 bolts along the top of the cover along the hatch
opening, 2 bolts on the bottom of the apron, and 2 sliding plates; one on each
side.
The apron has grooves along the sides (on the inside) that slide over the sliding
plates on the car, then the bolts are tightened down.....   Might have only
popped the apron out of the groove....
