Charlie-

Try to see if it will extend the range by putting the key under your chin
when you try to unlock it. I don't know why, (maybe your head acts as an
amplifier somehow) but it works for me.

Otherwise, I have to be about 20-30 yards away from it in clear view.

Also, could it simply need a new battery?
