Re: turbo questions...



My three thoughts are that 1) an aftermarket turbo kit on a VR6 needs a
specially tuned turbo chip.  If he's just using a generic Garrett chip,
theres your problem.  2)  From what I've heard, a 3" exhaust is a must for
full potential of the turbo on VR6 turbo'ed cars.  3)  stock fuel pump
can't push enough juice to supply the wants of the fuel enrichment kit and
ends up drying out when it gets up to 5 grand.  The stock fuel pump can
only flow so much fuel per second.

I hope this at least gives you some areas to try.
