Trunk Screws...

Khan,

Try screwing the thick rubber screws (one on each side of
the trunk door -- closer to the rear tail-lights) in a little
more.  Sometimes these rubber screws are unscrewed a bit
too much and causes the trunk to be difficult to close, and
causes a loud *thump* when you try to shut it.  You will notice
the screws kinda hold the ends of the carpet to the trunk door.

To the folks to think "Riceboy" is a racist comment... GET
OVER IT!!!  It is not a racist word... it is more of a
STEREOTYPE!  You can't make us stop using the term... and you
will hear it from other car enthusiasts (not just VW folks).
