I have a 99 GLX VR6 with the Bose system, if you have the same premium system
(10 speaker system) your choices are basically one overpriced unit from your VW
dealer or the Panasonic 6 CD changer (I got mine from Cruchfeild for less than
US $300). You can install it yourself if you like to do that kind of thing,
just be careful where you get your constant power for the changer from. My
alarm system did not like having another appliance taking power from it and the
car acted like it was possessed, amusing for about 30 seconds until I thought
that I destroyed something expensive.
