Garrett (.09) BOG!

I have a 1995 Vento GLX and have a V.09 Garrett chip and have been pretty
happy with it...till now.  I was at the track and I was having a lot of
trouble with it bogging out on me at around 6500.  It says the redline is 7300
on this chip.  Its rather embarassing to have it bog down and I'm not sure if
that is a defect in the chip or not. Has this happened to anyone else? Or
should I contact the G man himself?
